Dr Lodi explains the Carcadian Rhythm

Our bodies, our physiology is connected to that rotational velocity, and that’s called the circadian rhythm. So our circadian rhythm is based upon the rotational velocity of the Earth, and that’s why it’s pretty much the same for all human beings. Human beings have a circadian rhythm from 23.5 to 24.5 hours, so everybody’s circadian rhythm, it turns out that about 60%, 70% of the people are here, and 30 … So this is like 60+%, and this is 40+%.

So, no matter where you are or what you’re doing, if it’s 2:00 in the morning and you’re sleeping, it happens. If it’s 2:00 in the morning and you’re out at a disco, it happens. It doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing, your clock, your biology gets reset. And what happens? Well, your body starts to produce … Your pituitary gland starts to produce growth hormone. Your adrenal glands start to produce cortisol. Okay? And many other hormones start, begin their process at that time. Also, body temperature changes. Your body temperature is low, the very low, around 4:00 AM. Your body temperature is very high around 4:00 PM. Anyway, that’s just how it works.
